The Course

City of Derry Golf Club comprises 22-holes made up of the Championship Prehen Course and the Dunhugh Course, a 6-hole Academy course. The Prehen Course has magnificent views of the River Foyle and away to the west the Hills of Donegal are always visible.

The signature hole undoubtedly is the short 8th; 148 metres the hole is locally known as "The Crow's Nest" and requires a precise tee shot to a well protected green, miss the green here and making par is almost an impossibility.

City of Derry Golf Club have produced some of the finest golfers to represent Ireland at every level, in recent years. Davy Jones and Michael McGeady have represented Ireland with distinction, as has Naoimh Quigg for the ladies.
